Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)

EQIP is a continuous sign-up program that allows land owners or operators to apply for financial and technical assistance for specific conservation practices.

Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program (WHIP)

Whip is a voluntary program for landowners or users who want to develop and improve wildlife habitat primarily on private land.

Emergency Watershed Program

The purpose of the EWP is to undertake emergency measures, including the purchase of floodplain easements, for runoff retardation and soil erosion prevention to safeguard lives and property from floods, drought, and the products of erosion on any watershed whenever fire, flood or any other natural occurrence is causing or has caused a sudden impairment of the watershed.

Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP)

The WRP is a voluntary program that provides technical assistance to eligible landowners to address wetland, wildlife habitat, soil, water and related natural resource concerns on private lands in an environmentally beneficial and cost effective manner.
